Dr. Stephen Murphy, Principal
of Stonington High School, released the names of students in the top ten percent
of the senior class who are designated as the Stonington Scholars for the Class
of 2006.
Lauren Brant is this year’s Valedictorian, while David Lopes is the Salutatorian.
Other students receiving this distinction as Stonington Scholars include (in
alphabetical order): Laura
Brustolon, Thomas (TJ) Keemon, Michala Kepple, Caely Melford, Jenna Moore, Kaitlyn
Moore, Axel Regnstrom, Sarah Romeo, Aliyah Schultz, Michael Simeone, Kasey Solar,
Kelly Spellman, Julie Taylor, Maryanne Whitford, and Jeffrey Zhang.
This honor signifies that these students have truly achieved excellence during
their years at Stonington High School. Congratulations to these outstanding
students.
