Dr. Stephen Murphy, Principal
of Stonington High School, released the names of students in the top ten percent
of the senior class who are designated as the Stonington Scholars for the Class
of 2005.
Jonathan Pinto is this year’s Valedictorian, while Lindsay Cross is the
Salutatorian. Other students receiving this distinction as Stonington Scholars
include (in alphabetical order) Joanna Albert, Zachary Binkowski, Alyssa Christian,
Conner Gilles, Richard Hartnett, Harrison Macris, Jordan Penley, Brett Pierson,
Corey Prachniak, Paul Schmitz, Todd Tilton, Ashley Welcome, Hannah Wilson, Caitlin
Wolter.
This honor signifies that these students have truly achieved excellence during
their years at Stonington High School. Congratulations to these outstanding
students.
