Q: I am a new teacher and I do not
yet have an email or a PowerSchool account. How do I get one?
A: Contact your building secretary and have him/her email the the following
information to the
webmaster@stonington.org: name, school, desired password (3 to 8 characters
long, use letters and at least one number.)
Q: I have an email account (or
PowerSchool account) but I forgot my password. How do I find out what it
is?
A: Call 860-572-0506x117 and ask that your password be reset. Leave your
name, school, and extension. You will receive voice mail stating that your
password was reset. Once this happens you can access your email and
retrieve emailed instructions to change your password.
Q: What is PowerSchool? What
is PowerSchool Teacher? What is PowerGrade?
A: PowerSchool is the web-based Student Information System (SIS) that is used by
all schools in the Stonington School District. It is accessible from
any Internet connected computer. PowerSchool Teacher is the area of
PowerSchool that teachers access for attendance, basic grading, student data,
etc. PowerGrade is an application that is used by Middle and High
School teachers as their daily electronic grade book.
